A little update...
It's a little early for this (at least I think so), but I've had an idea for the title/credit sequences. (I think this goes to show that a schedule isn't the end all, be all; although I didn't think I'd be straying from it so early.)
I was talking with a friend about the progress of our projects while working on the script for my film, and they mentioned that they were working on their title sequence. So, naturally... I started thinking about mine. And I got a brilliant idea (well, at least I think it's brilliant) and had to drop everything.
Since it's about an author writing a story, I came up with the idea of having the font be in the style of a typewriter and the title/credits use the typewriter effect (where it looks like the words are being typed on screen).
So, I'm gonna do an example version to see how I like it.
In order to achieve the effect, I watched a video on YouTube from Booker Films to learn how to do it. I used the program Adobe Premiere Pro to create and test the effect.
Here is the tester that I created. I really like it; it came out well (if I do say so myself). I think I'm going to use this effect for the film; it goes well with the idea.
Anyway, that's all for today. (I'll talk about the script in the next blog post, I promise)
Until, next time...
